MOSES KURIA ATTACKS RAILA FOR BREAKING LUNCH PROMISES
Cord leader Raila Odinga had a chat with Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria during their 'peace' lunch at Ranalo restaurant in Nairobi last week on 21st of June 2016. It's barely a week after enjoying ugali, fish and osuga with Raila and the Pangani six that Moses Kuria accuses him of not honouring the agreements they reached.
Following the detention of MPs and senators alleged of hate speech at the Pangani police station, MPs Moses Kuria( Gatundu South), Ferdinand Waititu( Kabete),Junet Mohame( Suna East), Timothy Bosire( Kitutu Masaba) and Kimani Ngunjiri ( Bahati) promised to join the peace treaty. However, Kabete's and Kitutu Masaba's members of parliamentbdid'nt turn up for the lunch. Moses Kuria was to take that opportunity to thank the Cord leader Raila for forgiving him for alluding to a plot for his assassination.
Kuria said that during the meeting, they agreed to launch peace caravans across the country and that political matters would not feature at the rallies. However, on Sunday Kuria reported, '' barely a week after agreeing to uphold our deal, Raila has begun using the caravans to attack and campaign against the jubilee government during his political rallies in Mombasa, Kakamega and Kisii.''
'' Raila has taken opportunity during his recent political rallies to campaign for cord at the expense of uniting Kenyans,'' Kuria condemned.
Waititu said the youth meetings Raila has been holding need investigations since they might result into riots. The interior cabinet secretary, Joseph Nkaissery also said that the agendas for the Odinga's several youth meetings needs to be aired clearly because they seem to contain hidden agendas.

FORMER CABINET SECRETARY BACK TO OFFICE.
Former cabinet secretary Kambi kazungu
The president of Kenya , president Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated the former cabinet secretary for labour , Kambi Kazungu to be the chairperson of the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF).The former cabinet secretary who will assume the new role upon approval by the National Assembly was forced to step down from his office based on the allegations on graft. He would later left out of the government by the president during the reshafling of the cabinet secretaries by the president.
His role was therefore taken by Phyllis Kandie the then cabinet secretary of East African Affairs. Kambi's suspension in November was informed by the move by the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) who forwarded his name to the DPP to be charged with graft having concluded their investigations.
Kambi who then stepped out of office was linked to corrupt deals at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Tassia II project where he is said to have strongly supported the project despite the clear indication that the board of trustees hadn't approved the upward review of the project cost from ksh.3 billion to ksh. 5 billion.
Prior to this, Kambi had been quoted saying he doesn't condone corruption and should he ever be found a criminal of graft then the president should take a gun and shoot him at a close range.
"I stand by my words that if I am found to be corrupt, I should not only be sacked but also be killed," said kazungu. "The fact that I have been mentioned doesn't mean I am corrupt, I support the president 200 percent," he added.
He was among the five suspended cabinet secretaries who stepped down from office upon the release of the graft report.

UGANDA PLANS TO WITHDRAW ITS TROOP FROM SOMALIA BY DECEMBER NEXT YEAR
Uganda has reached a decision of withdrawing it's troop from Somalia by December 2017. This is following frustration from Somalia's army as well as the international partners as reported to the BBC by Ugandan chief of defence forces General Katumba Wamala. Wamala said that it has reached a time for Somalia to take over the role of maintaining it's security but this has not been the case despite the training of its soldiers and army officers by Turkey, UK and US.
Ugandan government said that it's Uganda among other troop contributing nations like Kenya, Burundi and Ethiopia that contributes the largest percentage of troops to the Africa Union force fighting Islamic militant Al-shabaab but still Somalia is not co-ordinating its activities and this is causing problems.
Some have even gone ahead and questioned the effectiveness of AU mission in Somalia because it has struggled to secure areas outside the big towns and it has also been plagued with allegations of corruption.

TREE BRANCH FALLS KILLING A MAN
A Toronto arborist says he is
“furious” at the city’s “negligence and laziness” in inspecting trees
the day after a man was killed when a falling branch struck him in
Trinity Bellwoods Park.
Andrew Baughn, an
ISA certified arborist and founder of Eco Tree Co., said the city needs
to do more work to avoid more tragedies.
“If
I walked you through Trinity Bellwoods, five to six trees would need
immediate attention . . . and this is a park that holds thousands of
people,” he said.
Baughn, who lives across
the park with his family and walks through it every morning with his
children, has documented several trees that are unhealthy, including one
that almost fell on him and his 2-year old son last June.
“A
big chunk of wood from a silver maple tree, almost 250 pounds, fell
last year while I was at the park with my son,” he said. “If it had hit
us, or anyone else, we would’ve been dead.”
Matthew
Cutler, spokesman for Parks, Forestry and Recreation, said that the
tree was in “good health and not a risk to public safety,” after their
inspection Saturday.
Cutler went on to say that “limb drops” by healthy trees have been documented in several tree species as a result of a phenomenon called “summer branch drop.”
Cutler went on to say that “limb drops” by healthy trees have been documented in several tree species as a result of a phenomenon called “summer branch drop.”
“We have not
determined this was the case in this incident,” Cutler said. “It is
important to note that while highly unlikely, limbs can fall from
otherwise healthy trees.”
The tree in question was last inspected in 2014, when it was reported to be in good health, Cutler said.
Media reports say the victim was a 30-year-old French citizen who was in Canada on a work permit with his wife.
The French consulate in Toronto did not return requests for comment when contacted on Saturday.
“I
was just sitting over on the picnic bench. I heard a crack, and within a
second it was on top of them,” said witness Tyson Bigio. “It was like
lightning.”
Despite the tragedy, something
Toronto police Const. Craig Brister said he has “never” heard of before,
the park remained busy Saturday.
“I think we’re just looking at this as . . . wrong place, wrong time, whatever you want to call it,” Brister said.

REVANGE, HATE AND MURDER ROCKS!!
A murder case has been reported in koyolo location, Rangwe constituency, Homa-Bay County of a love gone sour. The culprit named Onyancha named severally stubbed his girlfriend on her chest which has caused her to bleed to death. The two lovers had a heightened argument which turned sour when the man in question couldn’t control his temper but resolved to take a knife and stubbed the girlfriend several times in the chest causing her death before she could reach the homa-bay district hospital. Talking to us on phone the village area chief said such cases have since been in the increase especially in this location, he noted that such crimes has been due to lack of understanding among most lovers in this location. The chief promised this he wouldn’t allow to be the order of the day in this location adding that the perpetrator has now been arrested and is in the police custody waiting to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
Most times we have ended up in relationships with an expectation that it would be rains all through and it would be a rose flower bearing entity with no displeasures at any point or mistrust among the lovers. Love from its onset based on the biblical accounts is defined as not evil loving; it is brought out as being so kind and patient, entity that isn’t jealous or boastful but rather truthful and tends to protect the positive sides of it and in the long run strives to suppress its negativity.
From his perception, Scott Perk says that it is and I quote “one mysterious nature of love is that none has ever arrived at a satisfactory definition of love” he views love as too large, too deep ever truly to be understood or limited to the explanation or the framework of words, it is something that it’s to be experienced rather than just felt.
With all these explanations and expectations then, what is it that makes love to end up to be too bitter to that extent that leads someone to even commit murder on the basis of passion, or how does love make someone end up committing crime on the account of passion? Though this is unthinkable, such passion crimes have become the order of the day with the lovers ending up murdering each other on accounts best known to them, in the last night’s incidence the culprit argued that he did this unthinkable act out off annoyance that his lover had been cheating on him with his immediate friend.
Cases of passion crimes has in the recent past been as a result of jealousy, fear of losing a partner, extreme anger and heartbreaks from the lovers which brings into the victims an idea of revenge. Evidently, crimes of passion have been a result of mental illness, depression and anxiety. They are indicated by mood swings and withdrawal if not lack of interest by the partners with each other starting to give imaginary excuses and each other trying to get their personal belongings, evidently, such partners start using the personal pronoun I in almost all their discussions.
In the current society where we live, people’s minds are clouded with several questions which seem not answered as to why someone who has been in love with a partner would resolve to murder their lovers or commit a gender assault against their loved ones, this is a sure bet that all of us are full of why’s and how’s especially when met with such news rather than because of.
In most cases, because of what the victims think of as love, has clouded their judgments such that even after noting the markers of a possible passion crime, they tend to assume that out of the good times they have shared together as lovers there cannot be any case of such murder or passion crimes among them only to be sorry after the occurrence of such crimes.
At times, the likelihood of someone to commit a passion crime may be well known to their friends is known to their friends not limited to all their friends, who have in the past assumed such indicators only to come and be sorry of having not informed the victims in prior to the occurrence of such crimes. Most of these crimes begin with disagreements and quarrels out of very light discussions, this is clearly reflected on how the individuals are to handle the third party including children or close relatives whenever they talk or give them instructions, mostly any slight mistakes from the third party is punishable to them.
Possibilities of any looming passion crimes have been marked with increased abuse either emotionally or physically by the partners. This may also be marked by cases of constant accusation of imaginary unfaithfulness and mistrust. When such accusations have started coming out of your relationships then be aware that it isn’t time to continue surviving in these relationships but it is rather that time to get5 to quite from the relationship for why should you continue playing with smoke yet you are sure that the fire in the smoke can consume you into a totality.
Everyone is a potential victim of passion; the only difference is how much each individual is aware of their environment and their ability to make timely wise choices in life. Do not wait to run away for cover ups in the last minute when you know at that point you won’t be able to run away. At that point when you start witnessing any signs of withdrawal by your partner then it is high time you quite rather than stay in such a relationship. If you as an individual also realize you’re likely to be forced into committing a crime of passion then be ware it is that time to collect yourself and be ready in your mind t5o get out of the relationship lest you commit crime of passion.

JUBILEE,CORD MPS CHARGED WITH INCITEMENT TO VIOLENCE .
The eight Jubilee and Cord mps accused of hate speech have been charged with incitements to violence.
The legislators were arraigned in court on Friday morning where each was charged.
The legislators could be slapped with additional and more concret charges when they appear in court, according to the National Cohesion and intergrating commission has said.
NCIC chairman Francis Ole Kaparo has said the body would also "vehemently" oppose bail for the mps,who have since Tuesday been in custody ,with a magistrate and judge refusing to grant them bail.
The High Court on Thursday upheld the lower court's decision to detail them.
The court said it had reached the verdict after considering public as opposed to individuals interests.
The judge said that the detention of lawmakers was aimed at helping the diector of public prosecution to protect the public and so the mps and senators needed "to pay the small price".
The court said it was necessary to detain the leaders for a limited time to allow police complete investigation.
According to the court, the lawmakers' lawyers and the DPP concurred that the detainee were being looked after properly after their plight was brought to attention of the court on Wednesday.
Mr John Khaminwa and Mr Harun Ndumbi had pleaded with the court to free the leaders ,saying some of needed medical attention.
The eight accused are Machakos senator Johnson Muthama,Suna East MP Junet Mohamed,Kilifi Woman Rep Florence Mutua,Gatundu South Mp Moses Kuria,Kabete's Ferdinant waititu and Bahati's Kimani Ngunjiri.
" No charges have been drafted by the DCl and the DPP .The police only made application, you will see charges tomorrow," NCIC senior legal officer Kyalo Mwengi said.
Mr Kaparo told the joint commitee on National Cohesion that the NCIC now had the support of DCI,DPP and the inspector General of police.
"I have heard Jubilee saying we are against their members .That most of the mps are from Jubilee .I have heard the same from Cord. When I hear that,I know we are fine because both are attacking us," he said.

MOVING TO HEAVEN ON EARTH
Life becomes tough when you meet new friends. Sometimes it makes difference in life as you adopt and try to move on with your new friends, learning new tactics of life. Friends in most cases may help you when in need, advice you when to, and also help you in decision making. Even though there are different types of friends, when selecting a friend one needs to be as wise as possible for a saying goes, tell me your friend I tell you who you are, alas!
Moving to town was the worst part of my life as I used to do things in an 'analogue' way as 'they' can say it. I was raised in a village for more than 10 years and I had almost no knowledge on how to survive in a town. There was no option but to move with my family to the City,Nairobi.
It was not my first time to be in Nairobi but to live as our second home. Home away from home. The worst part is how to cop up with those who were considered rich in the city, Livington the estate.
The weather and climate being cool and nice with a cool breeze made me really realize I was away from my village and it was not a dream. The only sound I heard was only from the building which was in the process of construction. This made me think I was out of town as me being used to the noise in every town as a town is a place where many gather together, and as it goes, where wise people are, there must be a mad man...I expected the same noise I heard in South C, the same noise in Feather Estate. I had to be cool and wait if it was a dream or not.
Valley Acade was our destination. At the gate ,as usual there was a check at the gate to ensure good security,,,The only question which ran into my mind was ''why the check while we are the only one here'' not knowing the houses were full of people only busy with their own life.A big compound with a swimming pool made me remain silent as this was not to believe, we leaving in such a estate.
We moved and before the entrance to the building as we were directed to House D2A...Me being in front made me remember a soldier at the back or front always get killed first while the middle walking soldier survives.I still believe only my mum saw me, struggling to open an electric door which was to be opened from inside by the owner of the house we were going, my sister. I moved back embarrassed as the door decided to open itself.
We went up the stares and house D2A we were, at the door my sister who went prior in search of the house we could reside. Greetings were as we made ourselves in..."heaven on earth" big living room which I thought we were mistaken to have moved to city hall. My room which I was located made me think I was in the other house of the apartment. Indeed, people are of different social class. It took me three weeks before seeing our neighbor who told me people are ever indoors.
Living in Lavington made me lose hope in associating with people as it was not easy to meet other people. This is why in some estates in Nairobi are so much quiet since people live indoors, only out for important tasks. I came to adopt this and living in Lavington has taught me a lot...What I will never forget is paying rent of sh250,000 while others suffer to get rents of only sh1,500.

HOW TO LIVE IN THE UNFAIR WORLD
The World we live in is at times quite unfair. Most people keep on complaining of this unfairness of the World. The system is unfair, life unfair and also the beings are unfair. How does this unfairness comes about?Right away from the time of your birth in that public or private hospital,it's the doctors and nurses who attended to you to ensure your well being. In our day to day lives,we tend to use cell phones, electricity, laptops and cars, all of which we never invented.
Generally, people do not have access to equal opportunities as those from richer house holds are given priorities over those coming from poor families.Even when we trace back to 30 years ago,the trend was equivalent. People lived in a mornachial society where those from the highest social class ruled over the others. Therefore, those who were coming from lower class within the society would become slaves throughout their life time.Hence,it's a clear evidence that the unfairness of the World has been in place since the beginning and it will remain unfair forever.
There are three ways in which one can live jovially and survive in this World.First of all,you need to be a spectator who complains about unfairness whenever you feel uneasiness.Secondly, you need to be a contributor who take the responsibility to do well his or her job in order to make this world a better place to live in.And last but not least, you need to be an annihilator who deliberately works to ensure an end to the unfairness of the World.
What a gift all of us have got but we hardly acknowledge it.Quite unfair! Current philanthropic initiatives taken by Gates,Bono,Buffet and many other entrepreneurs might lead to a World by 2030,where a child born in any part of the world can take a stab at a life of his or her choice. Throughout history, people at every level have contributed to make a better World. Therefore, let's all take the responsibility of contributing towards activities that build us as well as our nation inorder to put an end to this unfairness and stop complaining.

THE STRENGTHS VIS-A VIS THE WEAKNESSES OF THE JUBILEE GOVERNMENT
It's high time we need to come to our senses as Kenyans and appreciate a number of achievements that have been brought into place since 2013 when the Jubilee government was given power over the state moreso through the digital migration. However, as we all know that everything that has strength must have its weaknesses as well,so should we expect the same from jubilee.
Some of the weaknesses that the jubilee government have depicted amidst its numerous strengths are increased insecurity countrywide for instance cases of militia attacks. It's during the reign of jubilee government that militia terror attacks like alshabaab have been very rampant killing many Kenyans e.g the Westgate menace, Garissa University College attack, the Mombasa church attack among others and still there are several places that have been targeted by the militia group. Also a number of Kenyans, the likes of George Muchai,Jacob Juma,George Saitoti among others have been assassinated. Why just so during this reign of the jubilee government?
Again,we are nowadays living in a Kenya where your cash dictates the kind of job to secure, the kind of life you live of which if you don't have money you are just but nothing within the society. This vice has been spread more so through bribery which is the most common form of corruption. Those from rich households have continued to prosper as those from humble backgrounds perishes.
On the other hand, the jubilee government has brought in some benefits to our nation more so by achieving the objective of countries of the World that 2015 would be deadline by which all countries should have migrated to the digital television transmission platform. It's through the continuous effort of the jubilee government that has ensured we complied with the deadline. The digital transmission of TV signals has resulted to clearer signal reception hence no more blurred images on TV screen and Kenyans have rested assured of receiving clear pictures which make entertainment more entertaining.
Similarly, digital transmission of TV signals have resulted into a wider selection of channels. Nowadays, Kenyans have a wide variety of channels to choose from hence satisfaying their needs as more channels can be transmitted ranging from those that fit kids like cartoons on Nickelodeon, Disney junior, Jim jam etc to those that fit adults more so movies and news 24hours a day so long as you have got access to a top box and have paid for it based on whatever top box you are using. Some of the top boxes like bamba are even manageable as they are free for life once you have purchased one.
Also,it's the jubilee government that promised standard one pupils laptops and it has fulfilled the promise by supplying the standard ones in various public primary schools within the 47 counties with the laptops. This is of advantageous to us as a nation as our children will be growing when they are computer literate as compared to majority of us who were unlucky and only learnt how to use computer after leaving high school.
Thanks a lot to the digital migration that has been geared by the jubilee government.

HOW DO YOU PRAY
prayer is perhaps one of the most ancient and mysterious of human experiences. It’s also one of the most personal. Even before the word prayer appeared in spiritual practices, the oldest records of the Christian and Gnostic traditions used words such as communion
to describe our ability to speak with the unseen forces of the
universe. Prayer is unique to everyone who experiences it. Some estimate
that there are as many different ways to pray as there are people who
do the praying!
Today, modern prayer researchers have identified four broad categories that are believed to encompass all the many ways that we pray. In no particular order, they are: (1) colloquial, or informal, prayers; (2) petitionary prayers; (3) ritualistic prayers; and (4) meditative prayers. When we pray, the researchers suggest that we use one of these four modes—or a combination.
Colloquial prayers are informal prayers offered in everyday language. An example is: “Dear God, if just this one time I can get to the gas station before my gauge reads ‘empty,’ I promise I’ll never let my tank get this low again!” Petitionary prayers are requests to God, such as: “Mighty God, I claim perfect healing now, and in all past, present, and future manifestations.” Ritualistic prayers are perhaps most familiar. These are offered as specific words spoken at a specific time of day or year. Two examples are: “Now I lay me down to sleep . . .” and “God is great, God is good. . . .” Some people make a distinction between meditation and prayer, viewing prayer as “speaking” to God and meditation as “listening” to God. During meditation, we’re typically aware of a sacred presence that permeates our world and our being, and we apply the techniques of various teachings to experience what this presence means in our lives, as well as to harness it.
As good as these descriptions are, and as well as each of these prayers appears to work, there’s always been another mode of prayer that this list doesn’t account for. This fifth mode of prayer, the “lost mode,” is a prayer that’s based solely in feeling. Rather than the sense of helplessness that often leads us to ask for assistance from a higher power, feeling-based prayer acknowledges our ability to communicate with the intelligent force that 95 percent of us believe in, and participate in the outcome.
Without any words, without our hands held in a certain position or any outward physical expression, this mode of prayer simply invites us to feel a clear and powerful feeling as if our prayers have already been answered. Through this intangible “language,” we participate in the healing of our bodies, the abundance that comes to our friends and families, and the peace between nations.
Sometimes we see references to this mode of prayer, perhaps without recognizing what we’re being shown. In the American Southwest, for instance, ancient stone structures were created in the desert by their builders as “chapels”: sacred places where wisdom could be shared and prayers offered. These perfectly circular stone buildings, some submerged and covered deep within the earth, were known as kivas (pronounced KEE-vuhs). Etched, carved, and painted into the walls of some kivas are clues as to how the lost mode of prayer was used in native traditions.
Inside restored kivas in the Four-Corners area, there are the remnants of the mud plaster that covered the stone structures long ago. Lightly etched into the earthen stucco, we can still see the faint images of rain clouds and lightning hovering over abundant fields of corn. In other places, the walls show outlines that hint at wildlife such as elk and deer, which were abundant in the valleys. In this way, the ancient artists recorded the secret of the lost mode of prayer.
In the places where the prayers were offered, those praying surrounded themselves with the images of the very things that they chose to experience in their lives! Not unlike the scenes of miracles and resurrection that we see in a church or temple today, the images inspired those who were praying with the feeling that their prayers had been answered. For them, prayer was a full-body experience, involving all of their senses.
If you ask someone on any street, or in any airport or shopping mall, to describe prayer, more often than not they’ll recite the words of familiar prayers to answer you. When we say things like “Now I lay me down to sleep,” “God is great, God is good,” and “Our Father, who art in heaven,” the belief is that we’re saying a prayer. Could the words be a “code”? Rather than being the prayeritself, could the words that remain today be the formula that someone else designed long ago to create the feeling of the prayer within us. If so, then the implications are vast.
We are always feeling in each moment of every day of our lives. While we may not always be aware of just what we’re feeling, we are feeling nonetheless. If feeling is the prayer and we’re always feeling, then that means we’re always in a state of prayer. Each moment is a prayer. Life is a prayer! We’re always sending a message to the mirror of creation, signaling healing or disease, peace or war, honoring or dishonoring our relationships with those we love. “Life” is the Mind of God sending back to us what we feel—what we’ve prayed.

A ROAD ACCIDENT CLAIMS FIVE LIVES AGAIN!
The remains of the wrecked body of the matatu after the accident, police has yet arrested the driver allegedly responsible |
A Langas Matatu Sacco bus today has ran into a private Toyota vehicle claiming lives of five members of the same family, the bus which was heading towards Langas from Eldoret town accidentally ran into a Toyota vehicle which was headed to Eldoretalong the Kisumu- Eldoret road early at five in the morning thereby claiming the lives of all those in the Toyota vehicle plus an extra pedestrian along the way.
Road accidents has in the recent past been aligned to the carelessness in the part of the drivers, Some of the drivers have been found in cases of alcoholic abuse before they can embark in their driving exercise claiming this would keep them active all through the exercise. This is actually in contrary to the actual line of duty that should be followed during the driving course, which in reality demands concentration on both the part of the driver and the pedestrians.
Most times when road accidents are talked about, be it far away from our proximity, we tend to receive such unbecoming and unwelcoming news with great displeasure, within shorter durations of time, people tend to especially the drivers tend to take caution a factor that suffers ruin seriously as it doesn’t end up into their normal practice in the daily life, such drivers end up forgetting about such occurrences and embark in their normal daily routines filled with recklessness with most of the drivers finding themselves in bars and restaurants abusing alcoholic brews which in the long run make them have the in ability to concentrate fully, the irony with this is that these drivers also claim that in this condition they are able to concentrate.
This problem with drug abuse has been proven beyond doubts by medical practitioners of being a major health hazard to human health and cannot allow its abusers to concentrate as the people might have claimed so. When talked about, drug abuse, since its birth has contributed to a serious ruin to the people’s lives, it is a major contributor to most of the accidents that have ever been witnessed, after using such drugs, and the driver is unable to concentrate and tend to hallucinate them viewing the most dangerous attempts as just mere ones with such attempts as applying emergency breaks along the round-about rather than doing the right thing to do in order to allow for the free flow of traffic.
Even though the accidents caused by such laziness and poor behavior among the drivers along the roads continue claiming lives, people have never learned to be keen on how they behave along the roads. Most times, pedestrians have been hit by speeding vehicles when they try to cross over the roads at accidental points rather than following the foot bridges if not the zebra crossing lanes, this behavior has led to loss of several lives along the roads.
Over speeding, overloading and overlapping especially along the busy roads in this present century ought to have been the issue of the past, under the glaring influence of corruption among the police and drivers along the roads have seen such road missusers go unpunished by the rule of law even after claiming innocent lives, however this unbecoming behavior has continuously contributed to loss of several lives, but do they care?
Validating the accident yesterday, the chief commandant of the police Mr. Augustus mutia, yesterday attributed this accident to the carelessness of the driver of the bus as he had seriously overlapped, this was further attributed to the “sleeping in the job” by the traffic police who in the recent past has failed to take control of the roads, he ascertained to the public yesterday among whom were the angry members of Eldoret Technical Collage with whom one of them had also perished in the accident ,that the issue would be investigated and the driver who was in contrary to the traffic laws would be held to book.
The question is, for how long will we continue to witness such accidents with us being given poor and empty invalid promises of investigations which in the long run tend to end in the dark? Speaking to the chief patrol offer of Uasin Gishu district, the officer said that the issue of road misuse has become the order of the day with people such as the reckless drivers have ended up in cases where they cause accidents and end up walking unpunished for their misconducts, he promises that this wouldn’t be the order of the day during his tenure promising that all the trespassers would be brought down to book and won’t walk unpunished “we won’t seat back and watch the life of innocent citizens being claimed by carelessness among the drivers, we must take action against such misbehavior and in fact this wouldn’t be the order of the day anymore ” the pedestrians must also ensure that they take control of their movement along the roads in order to avoid such accidents where the pedestrians are hit by vehicles “the security of us along the road starts with you as an individual, these deaths cannot be witnessed along the roads if me and you are responsible enough even as we walk along the roads ” with this quote I also have a strong feeling that we can be very safe if we can do it as advised by the officer, do not allow any driver to drive recklessly , I would advice that you as an individual try always to raise your voice as high as possible if in any case the driver shows any of the misconducts along the roads, as pedestrians, we also need to walk along the roads with a lot of care and if we are to cross the road let us do this as much as possible along the footbridges and at zebra crossing points to help us ensure our safety along the roads

HOW TO NOT FALL ASLEEP QUICKLY
1. As you lie alone in your darkened, temperature-controlled bedroom,
comfortably ensconced between satin sheets that are cool and slippery,
but not too cool and slippery, see if you can count up how many men
you've ever seriously dated in your entire life.
2. If the number is less than ten, move on to philosophical musings about how your finer points have always gone unappreciated.
3. If the number is greater than ten, reflect upon how your standards were always too low.
4. Once you have selected your most meaningful relationships, see if you can rank each of these past significant others on a five-point scale in terms of how much pain they caused you. For this purpose, "five" will signify, "So toxic that I still long to rip his head off." "One" will mean, "So dull and soulless and directionless that no one would miss him if he dropped dead."
Wonder if sheer obnoxiousness, plus the fatal flaw of falling out of love with you, proves any of your ex-boyfriends to be deeply psychotic.5. For those significant others who you rated as a five, see if you can remember every single vile remark they ever made to you. For each such remark, state aloud the perfect response that eluded you at the time. You will find that the most satisfying retorts are phrased as questions. For example, on that one reckless night that started out as giddy and ended with your boyfriend losing a toe, you could have said, "Oh, right—like you never lost your car keys during a snowstorm, after peeing on the side of a deserted road in the middle of the woods?"
6. Pick any ex-boyfriend at random, and dwell upon his cruel non-verbal communication—the eye-rolls; smirks; and deep, resentful sighs. Imagine having slapped him every time he did or said something nasty, such as that one evening when he said, "Fine. We'll eat at the diner. We'll eat at the diner again! Because God forbid we ever eat some place other than a freakin', greasy-ass diner! You know, the world would still exist even without freakin', goddam, grilled American cheese on rye!" The sharp sting of an open palm against a smug, bristly cheek would have felt terrific at such a moment.
7. Wonder what Brenda Kablarsky is up to. You know, she was kind of cute, and maybe if you had made a move on her—well, who knows. Spend some time mulling over sharing a life of cuddling next to wood stoves, sipping hot chocolate, and leafing through catalogs of anonymous sperm donors with good old Brenda. Resolve to finally figure out how to get into your college's alumni database on the computer.
8. Figure out what mental illnesses your various ex-boyfriends must have, according to your hazy recollection of the latest edition of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Wonder if sheer obnoxiousness, plus the fatal flaw of falling out of love with you, proves any of them to be deeply psychotic. Enjoy thinking of all the therapy your exes will desperately need each and every day for the rest of their lives. Marvel at how well you do without ever having gone to therapy at all. Successfully resist the urge to immediately spend three hours cleaning the bathroom tile with a toothbrush as a way of celebrating your mental health. Such hedonistic activities can wait for the weekend!
9. Feel incredulous at how, again and again, you kept dating people who, among other things, suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Remind yourself that coincidences are God's way of saying, "I'm here!" Reflect that God might need a little therapy, too.
10. Wonder if you can just call up your college's alumni office tomorrow and ask for Brenda's phone number.
11. Tell yourself that it's finally time to get some sleep. Stretch, close your eyes, and try to think of nothing.
12. Repeat steps one through eleven, as needed.

THE VACCINATIONS AND OUTREACH
Measles vaccine is always given as individual vaccine
nowadays and is often given in combination with mumps and rubella. The measles
vaccine in Kenya that began on 16th
May , 2016 marked an end on 24th May .The campaign faced so many
challenges with rebellion from the catholic priests being the major one .This
was due to the mixed perceptions that different people had. It’s not the first
vaccination to face rebellion because polio vaccine also faced the same.
It is said that those who got the vaccine surpassed 95%
during the five day campaign that was carried out. This was confirmed by the
minister of public health Hon. Beth Mugo. They did the innovative strategies to
reach the hard to reach areas .Also the adoption of the convincing power, which
is not something very easy to do, is what seemed best used so as to make those
who did not accept the vaccination to accept it.
Nothing can be done perfectly is what is always said .There
are so many questions that need to be raised concerning the campaign about the
5% that remained and the 95% that got
the vaccination. There is this group of young kids that is always ignored
though they are part of the citizens in Kenya. I don’t really understand which
percentage they fall in. The street kids.
It has been for so long that they have been ignored. There
has been no campaign that has ever shown that it has reached the street kids.
There are those street men and women who have kids but who can really assure
that there is a vaccination that has ever reached them. Though they may not be
having all the necessary documents to confirm that they are the citizens of
this country, we should have in mind that they are within the country. Why
should we look at them like the unwanted in the society?
Recently there was a fistula campaign which reached its
climax on Sunday on 22nd .The street kids where the ones running
after the road show vehicles .Who really cared to go out of his or her way to
reach those parents who are found in the streets? Or should we assume that they
are resistant to all these diseases that were being campaigned against? They
are prone to any diseases just like any other person.
It’s high time that we become humane in everything we do. We
have to go beyond the wildest things. We have to actually do our best and reach
our best in everything we do. How do you feel at our heart when you hear that
one of them died after suffering from a certain disease which you were
campaigning against and you took less concern about them in your campaign?
Let the vaccinations and campaigns outreach be actually
outreach not just by word of mouth but also by action. Let’s get out of the
ignorance.

hours of
Monday 5th January 2015 was this
young
man. Dark, tall, strongly built and
handsome. But one quick look at him,
I
noticed he was very troubled. He
looked
very shaken and nervous.
I smiled politely, offering him a
chair.
‘’good morning sir’’ I greeted,
wondering
what was troubling such a strong dude
this
early in the day.
‘’I guess you are Coolval?. The guy I
always
read his stories online?’’ he asked,
forcing
out a smile. I nodded, smiling back.
‘’yes sir, but you can call me
valentine’’ I
replied quickly. He breathed deeply
and
shrugged.
‘’well I’m here to tell you a story.
I’m here to
pour out my heart so that you can
write it
down and share it out to the world .
I want
people to read my story and probably
learn
from it. This is a story of love,
hopes and
betrayal. This is a story that most
unmarried guys out there, especially
in
Nigeria can relate to. It’s a story
of my
relationship with a young lady called
CASSANDRA. A girl that sent me
crashing
down with love’’ he said with such a
strong
spirit, his eyes turning dark red as
he
cleared his throat to start one of
the
passionate stories I have ever heard.
——————————————————————————————–
My name is David Odueke. A native of
Imo
state, Nigeria. I’m thirty three
years old and
also the first son in a family of
three boys
and a girl. Now here is my story…
On 30th December 2013, my younger
sister
got married to the love of her life.
It was a
very happy and festive day for every
member of my family and it equally
was the
day I made up my mind to do
everything
necessary to get married, since God
in his
infinite mercy was blessing me
tremendously.
.
Being the first son in a very poor
family, I
left the village at a very young age
to serve
one of my uncles in Onitsha. I served
him
for five years before I was settled
with a
well stocked shop. I was twenty five
years
by then and just like I promised my
father, I
quickly brought my immediate younger
brother to the city and together we
worked
hard to provide for our last two
siblings. I
made sure they got the education that
I was
denied due to poverty and God being
merciful made my business to boom so
much that in five years I had three
shops in
Onitsha plus two new shops in Owerri.
I was
dealing in house rugs, carpet and
electronics. A very profitable
business that
swelled my bank accounts the way I
never
imagined. And with that kind of money
under my control, I began dreaming
big. I
planned erecting a big house in my
village
and equally planned marrying a
beautiful
well educated girl, preferably a
doctor, nurse
or a banker.
In order to fulfill my aim, I
relocated to
Owerri in September 2013 from where I
controlled my business empire. I
relocated
to Owerri because I felt, getting an
educated
girl would be much easier in such
town than
in a commercial city like Onitsha. My
hopes
were totally up but unfortunately
December
soon arrived without me winning any
girl.
But it never brought down my spirit because
I felt good things do take time to
come.
Christmas arrived and I traveled to
the
village to celebrate with my family,
especially with my sister who was
getting
married that Christmas.
As the marriage ceremony went on that
fateful day, I slowly screened the
crowd,
searching for a lady that would gain
my
attention. In no time, I spotted this
fair
beautiful damsel. Very tall, graceful
and
super hot. She looked like a sea
goddess ,
her smiles very electrifying and
stunning. I
gazed in wonder at the marvelous
beauty
before me.
‘’dear lord. I hope, she’s the one. I
pray she
accepts me.’’ I prayed as I quickly
made my
way to where she stood chatting with
her
friend.
‘’excuse me, please can I have a word
with
you?’’ I asked politely. She threw a
quick
look at her friend who nodded in
approval.
She smiled and drew closer to me
while her
friend took some steps back.
‘’my name is David, Amara’s elder
brother.
The girl getting married is my
sister’’ I
nervously introduced myself. She smiled
once again, throwing the killing
smile that
attracted me to her.
‘’I know already. Your sister and I
are in the
same school’’ she replied,
encouraging me
with her sweet reply.
‘’really!, so what’s your name and
what
course are you studying in the
university?’’ I
asked breathlessly.
‘’my name is CASSANDRA. I’m a medical
student’’ she quickly answered. My
heart
instantly overflowed with great joy
like
someone who just won a jackpot.
‘’she’s definitely the one. She’s the
wife God
destined for me’’ I reasoned with
great joy.
I was the happiest man on earth that
very
moment.
